Film Synopsis: When a Brooklyn-born lyricist decides to leave his home, his family and the ordinary world behind, he sets out on a journey to find harmony in a world out of rhythm. By facing his childhood trauma, Rome’s music becomes more than art—it’s a lifeline, a spark for collective awakening. He must come to terms with the pain of being abandoned by his mother, challenge the systems built on silence and denial and tap into the vibrations of the universe, rewriting what it means to heal. Experience a cinematic odyssey where sound and spirit converge to unearth the uncomfortable truths that shape our world.
It’s hard to believe its been 10 years since our first feature documentary film, Time is Art: Synchronicity & the Collective Dream premiered on 11/11/15 to sold out audiences in NYC and around the world.
Just like with the first film, we need your help to bring this project to completion—and it starts by sharing our new teaser for the film we began in 2015, Time is Art: The Frequency of Love. This time, instead of launching an online fundraiser, we’re inviting an Associate Producer and Executive Producers to join the project directly. If you’re interested in being part of this evolving film, please email Katy@thingsarechanging.com for more information.
Currently, we are refining the feature length rough cut, finishing new cosmic lyrics + leftfield beats for the film and sound track and have plans to launch a podcast on our Things Are Changing Youtube channel hosted by Rome. Subscribe now and look out for more conversations covering everything in the first film and more!
